DESCRIPTION:

The Atlantic salmon Salmo salar belongs to Salmonidae family, which is naturally found in the northern Atlantic Ocean and in rivers that flow into the north Atlantic and since centuries ago, due to human introduction, can be found in the Pacific Ocean.

Since 1980 Chile has been successfully farming Atlantic Salmon in a sustainable way.
